On Thursday,
August 12, 2021, I held my first book signing event for The Gift of Gisela! I was thrilled
to be asked by the board at the Otsego Historical Society to hold it at their
Museum in Otsego. It was fitting to
hold the first book event there because much of Gisela’s story takes place in
Otsego and my sister and I grew up there.
It was standing
room only and we were thrilled with the turnout. Sold lots of books and got lots
of good feedback from those who already read it and brought it to be signed.
I spoke and
gave a presentation of the book and Gisela was there to say a few words too! It
was a very special night!
We hope to post
pictures from the event so we can all share in this special event. Look for future blogs, events and I plan to write a few blogs about the writing process in case anyone has a book in them that they want to put on paper. As I can personally attest: it’s never too late to make a dream come true.
