August 21, 2021 WELCOME TO THE BEANIE BLOG!
Consider
this your personal invitation to join me here and hopefully we’ll get to
know each other better.
As
stated in my “About Me” on this site, I am a late bloomer writer. I
published my first novel, The Gift of Gisela, in May of 2021. It
was the culmination of 25 years of writing and when it was finally
published, it felt like I had delivered my baby after a 25-year labor!
Seeing it in print and holding it in my hand was a life-long dream come
true.
Writers
love to write, but we also love our readers, and we love interacting
with them, talking to them, hearing feedback for the work, and just
getting to know each other. I asked my husband to create this blog for
my website so I can do just that—connect with all of you!
I get
asked a lot “where do you draw your stories from”?
And I always say, “From you! From life!” Because you can’t make
this stuff up—real life is so very interesting and every one of us has a
story in them. That is why I love getting up close and personal with my
readers.
I will
be uploading content weekly, giving a heads-up about upcoming events,
and sharing photos with you as much as possible. I’m hoping we can set
up some kind of feed-back feature so that you can write to me as well.
